This position is entirely remote, utilizing a HIPAA-compliant platform for virtual counseling sessions. • Deliver individualized counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform, adapting approaches based on each client’s needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identifying personal challenges and collaboratively determining goals for client treatment.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster client engagement and progress.
• Develop treatment plans that address symptoms associated with mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis, ensuring each client’s safety and privacy.
• Manage client caseload efficiently, focusing on high-quality care while Summit Healthcare Group handles administrative operations.
• Participate in ongoing training and peer consultations to further enhance your clinical skills and keep abreast of industry best practices.

The primary focus of your work will be with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. You will contribute to a supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered on their path to recovery. The remote nature of this role allows you to assist clients from diverse backgrounds and locations, enriching your professional experience and perspectives.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of three years of relevant mental health counseling experience is mandatory.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, and a web camera are necessary for effective remote session delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing your time efficiently to meet clinical and administrative demands.
• Successful completion of a background check will be required.

• Experience with telehealth practices and digital communication tools is highly desired.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, such as CBT or DBT, to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• A patient-centered approach with a commitment to building strong therapeutic alliances.
