Munitions Functional Area Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a Munitions Functional Area Analyst, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a Munitions Functional Area Analyst, you'll bring your managing and analyzing inventories, budget trends, industrial base capacity, and historical, current, and emerging munitions datasets, policies, and legislation expertise. You'll analyze more than 10 inventories, both historical and current, expenditure trends, and variances across more than 100 different munitions, as well as forecasting supply and demand to plan future inventory levels for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.
You'll guide the work we do as the principal logistics advisor and the solutions we deliver for the Joint Staff strategic orchestration for the Department of War.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in a military or operations research field, including U.S. military operations, munitions, readiness, and deployment routines covering air or space, ground, special operations, and maritime domains, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), force and capability development, or intelligence collection and analysis
  • 8+ years of experience working with DoD stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Ability to interface with clients
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience leading DOD analytic and operations research teams
  • Experience with military service

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
