Asย member of ourย HRย leadership teamย and under the direction of the Chief People Officer,ย theย Director,ย People Operations will leadย our HR Operations and Total Rewards functionย and beย both hands-on and strategic: refining our total rewards philosophy; scaling our compensation and benefits programs; buildingย aย strong HRย infrastructure; and refining HR delivery model to enable self-service with support. Managing and coaching a high-performing team creating programs that meet employees where they are today and build a strong foundation for tomorrow while reinforcing our company values.ย 

As a thought leader and partner toย HR and business leaders you will consult with key stakeholders to manage, drive, and influence the development and execution of global rewards, benefits, employee programs, and processes while balancing the financial goals of the company. You will work with the business leaders to translate the business strategy and objectives into a comprehensive Total Rewards & Operations strategy to meet our business needs today and, in the future, as we scale.ย 

The position will work cross-functionally to deliver value-add support to the people team and be viewed as a subject matter expert with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.ย 

This position can be based in any of the following cities:ย Kansas City; St Louis; Raleigh; Denver; Philly; Boston; San Diego; Dallas

Responsibilities include:ย 

  • Creating, administering, and evolving our Total Rewards strategy inclusive of compensation, benefits,ย wellbeing,ย and aligned with our DEI strategy.ย 

  • Direct the annual merit and bonus processesย 

  • Leading our HR Operations team focused on building tools and processes that scale and support people activities across the company.ย 

  • Partnering with theย business leadersย to drive recommendations for executive compensation and other analyses as requested by theย Executive Leadership.ย 

  • Leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing direct reports; develop the Total Rewards acumen of the broader HR team.ย 

  • Staying up-to-date on currentย benefit &ย compensation-related legislation to ensure compliance with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements.ย 

  • Benchmark activities across all areas of rewardsย and operationsย to elevate our understanding of our competitiveness globally and evolve it over time to meet the changing landscape of Total Rewardsย & Operations.ย 

  • Educating the organization, particularly our people managers, on topics related to Total Rewards.ย 

  • Assist in the implementation, rollout, and adoption ofย CRB's HRIS system andย vendor relationship, ensuring a high level of data integrityย 

  • Oversee and manage HR compliance function including leading HR audits, documentation, and testing of key controls, and ensuring internal policies and processes support compliance requirementsย 

  • Adviseย and consult withย the Human Capitol and Executive Compensation Board of Directors committeesย on matters related to Total Rewards.ย 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree requiredย 

  • Minimumย 10ย years'ย experienceย in human resources with aย focus on total rewards and/or operationsย 

  • Leadership experience in implementation and administration of total rewards and HR operational processes and programs.ย 

  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel with strong data analytics skill setย ย 

  • Track record of working cross-functionally and collaboratively at all levelsย 

  • Compensationย or benefitsย subject matter expertย 

  • Agile and high degree of initiative; effectively handles multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.ย 

  • Attentionย to detail, ability to juggle competing priorities during heavyย total rewardsย cycles/processes.ย 

  • Able to quickly establish trust and credibility acrossย human resources and the business.ย
