The role of the Clinical Social Worker at Rebirth Counseling Center is performed remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. Although you will be working from your own space, you will remain integrated with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health care. This remote setup is conducive to effective client interactions, utilizing teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools, with occasional opportunities to engage in team meetings and training sessions via video conferencing.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs, mental health status, and circumstances, developing tailored treatment plans that address individualized goals.
• Facilitate dynamic individual, group, and family counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster engagement and healing.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress towards achieving their treatment goals, adjusting care strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress or in high-stress situations to ensure immediate support and reassurance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and services provided, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Your role will involve working primarily with clients dealing with varied mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, and family dynamics stemming from life transitions and end-of-life considerations. Many clients may be facing profound challenges, including terminal illness, substance abuse, or significant life changes such as divorce and loss. Your empathetic approach and specialized training will be invaluable in supporting them through these experiences.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid, unrestricted state license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connection and rapport building with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, prioritizing client needs and treatment objectives.
