Position Overview

Rebirth Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough initial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use needs of clients, ensuring individualized care strategies are developed.
  • Designing, implementing, and regularly updating personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client progress.
  • Offering individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical staff, to coordinate care and promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Participating actively in case reviews and treatment planning meetings to ensure alignment on client objectives and methodologies.
  • Providing timely crisis intervention and support services to clients experiencing acute distress, establishing safety plans and resources for ongoing support.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development by staying informed on current trends, best practices, and relevant research in mental health and substance use treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including adults facing mental health disorders, substance abuse challenges, and co-occurring conditions. Our clientele may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other behavioral health disorders. Experienced counselors will have the opportunity to make significant impacts in their lives, guiding them through recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A valid Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team, demonstrating flexibility and openness to feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills and adept time-management abilities to manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience using electronic health records (EHR) to document client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies.
  • Experience in crisis management and developing safety plans for clients in distress.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
