Overview
The Administrator II, Applications Systems ensures efforts are in alignment with IT Enterprise Services to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people's lives. This role is responsible for application administration including server maintenance, application upgrades, application support and requests, disaster recovery planning, and providing any other support within the vendor purchased applications used at Navitus. This role is recognized as the go-to person when technical support is required specifically as the primary admin for our Enterprise Content Management (Document/Workflow) Suite which provides a centralized repository for digital content along with low-code/no-code tools for workflow automation, electronic forms, records management and integrations. This position will provide secondary administrative duties to the other applications supported by the team. This position will work directly with application developers, business users, internal IT, and third-party vendors to improve performance, ensure high availability of the system, and administer the overall health of the environment. This role will participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the systems are running optimally and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
  • Primary administration and integration within our SaaS Enterprise Content Management (Document/Workflow) Suite.
  • Ensure all environments are managed and maintained to meet service level agreements.
  • Implement Security measures and access controls.
  • Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems
  • Analyze system for overall performance and give recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with third party vendors.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Quick, efficient, and effective issue resolution with proactive communication to all stakeholders
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, patches, and reconfigurations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
  • Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations and uptime of application environments.
  • Proactive monitoring and maintenance of SaaS / Windows system environments.
  • Provide backup administration support to other teammates.
  • Provide after-hours support.
  • Other Responsibilities (including one or more of the following):
    • Co-Administration within Microsoft SaaS platforms including Teams, SharePoint, CoPilot and the Power Platform
    • Co-Administration within Atlassian SaaS platforms

Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
  • Associate's degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the field of Application and Server Administration required.
  • 3 years' working experience required.
  • 5 years' experience in the field of Application and Server Administration preferred.
  • Hands-on technical experience maintaining servers.
  • Enterprise Windows Administration including concepts such as Certificate Services, Web Services, Provisioning and Security.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Agile framework.
  • Hands on enterprise application and hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of networks, PCs and platform operating systems including Windows and Red Hat.
  • Working knowledge of Scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, YAML, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Object Oriented Programing, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PostGres, and MongoDB.
  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language and Database Scripting concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Release Automation processes.
  • Knowledge of Application support methodologies and processes for platforms such as M365 and Dynamics Cloud applications, Great Plains, Atlassian Suite, Informatica, Automic, Qlikview, QlikSense, Alation, and Qlik Replicate.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
