As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead the design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile mechanical systems that power drilling, completions, well intervention, and field operations. This role is remote within the Houston metropolitan area, with up to 55% travel to customer and client sites.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop: Engineer mobile mechanical systems for oil and gas applications-hydraulic equipment, mobile lifting systems, and field-service machinery.
  • Optimize Performance: Enhance reliability and efficiency for high-pressure, high-load, and high-cycle environments.
  • Model and Draw: Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
  • Prototype and Validate: Test and refine equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and Improve: Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement in system performance.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust, field-ready solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
