Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Megger cable fault location and testing & diagnostic test equipment via telephone, with personal visits, demonstrations and hands-on training. Validate new Megger products through testing of hardware and software for various applications and provide feedback for product enhancement/improvement.

Work with engineering team on product specifications, applications, software and contribute towards product design & development. Participate in Megger marketing and sales activities and industry technical meetings and conferences. Prepare white papers, application notes and technical articles to reinforce Megger as subject matter expert in power industry.

Should be able to present on different theoretical topics and case studies at conferences and technical meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Knowledge of power system operation and circuit's analysis. Experience with design, construction, installation, operation, testing and maintenance practices of cables and cable accessories.

Have an in-depth understanding of cable testing and diagnostic techniques such as VLF testing, tan delta and partial discharge. Have a good working knowledge of the methods and procedures used at utility for cable fault location and relevant hands on experience. Preferably, 5 years of direct experience in cable commissioning, field-testing and different fault location methods and practices.

Knowledge of applicable and relevant IEEE, IEC and NETA standards as it relates to cable testing and maintenance. Ability to present technical topics and communicate effectively in front of large audience consisting of technicians, engineers, managers and key decision makers. Required travel (approximately 50%).

Position requires strong computer skills including knowledge of various Windows platforms, software installation, various PC I/O ports and Microsoft Office.
