Job description

Echo Locum Tenens, an affiliate of Sound Physicians, is seeking Anesthesiologists for locum coverage at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. This role offers flexible shifts with no minimum requirements and competitive pay. Clinicians will provide services across OB, Main OR, and Cardiac departments, working collaboratively with CRNAs.

Practice Info

  • Services include OB, Main OR, and Cardiac.
  • OB services are staffed with 1 MD and 1 CRNA.
  • The main OR anesthesiologist will supervise CRNAs (max 1).
  • Cases include ENT, GYN, Ortho, neuro, vascular, Cath lab, GI, interventional cardiology-EP, bariatric surgery, and general surgery.
  • The facility is Level 4 trauma, serving as a tertiary referral center for vascular cases.
  • EPIC EMR is used in the Hospital and OR suites.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with CRNA in OB services and may be called to assist in the main OR if needed.
  • Help in the main OR at night and weekends if a second emergency case occurs for the second room (OB clinician).
  • Supervise CRNAs (max 1) in the main OR.
  • Work cases when called in during Saturday and Sunday 24 hr remote call for Main OR shifts.

  • Main OR Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 24 hr remote call.
  • Cardiac shifts: Monday -Friday (7a-5p) and (7a-5:30p) with remote call (5:30p-7a).
  • Cardiac shifts: Saturday – Sunday 24hr remote call, rare call back.
