Job description

Role: Manager - Nursing Focused
Duration: 12 months - convert to hire
Experience : 5+ years
Travel up to 50-75%
Role Description:
The nursing-focused supply chain pro. Handles all the high-volume med/surg consumables, ICU, ED, infection prevention. Breadth over depth.
Drive SKU rationalization and product standardization across clinical areas
Lead nursing-focused Value Analysis initiatives and product trials
Manage high-volume product conversions (gloves, IV sets, wound care, etc.)
Negotiate pricing for med/surg consumable contracts
Work with CNOs, nursing directors, and infection prevention teams
owns:
Med/Surg: Gloves, syringes, IV sets, wound care, dressings, continence, respiratory therapy
ICU/Critical Care: Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator circuits, enteral feeding, central line kits
ED: Trauma supplies, suture kits, splinting, airway management
Infection Prevention: Isolation products, hand hygiene, disinfectants, sterilization, SSI bundles
Nursing/Patient Care: Skin care, fall prevention, positioning, compression therapy
Other: Nutritional products, ophthalmology, rehab supplies
Required Skills:
5+ years healthcare supply chain or clinical value analysis
3+ years managing med/surg and acute care categories must be really strong here
Experience engaging nursing leadership on standardization
Track record of delivering savings through product conversions and SKU rationalization
