Job Summary

The IT Project Manager I is required to lead multiple projects through all lifecycle phases in support of IT. They are responsible to deliver projects on time and within budget and scope. Nordic, repeat Best in KLAS IT Services Firm and solely serving the healthcare industry, strives to empower healthcare providers to leverage technology and to realize digital transformation. Key Responsibilities

  • Manages large multimillion-dollar projects that have significant business implications; delivers projects on schedule and on budget; proactively manages project finances and forecasting.
  • Manages projects that have significant business implications; delivers projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Documents project objective, scope, and deliverables; Defines project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Schedules and attends cross functional project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, sending out relevant updates, etc.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for execution of projects.
  • Delivers basic project plans, status updates and reports in conjunction with the technical project leaders.
  • Utilizes the project management tool set and processes.
  • Demonstrates commitment to their project, including ownership and accountability.
  • Leads geographically dispersed teams remotely.
  • Identifies and removes project roadblocks, resolves issues and mitigates risks.
  • Adapts to new technology solutions utilized by clients.
  • Acts with a collaborative approach to the business

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Finance, IT, or related field and 3 years of related experience or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 1 years' experience in Project Coordination/Project Management (Required)

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • MS Project (Preferred)

Soft/Interpersonal Skills:

Additional Details

  • Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
