Job description

Position Overview

The Neuroscience Psychiatric Center is actively seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mental health professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to diverse client populations from the comfort of their own homes.

About the Organization

At Neuroscience Psychiatric Center, our mission is to deliver high-quality mental health services to individuals regardless of their geographical location. Our fully remote outpatient clinic comprises a nationwide team of seasoned mental health professionals, all committed to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for both our clients and employees. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovative mental health treatment and evidence-based practices, ensuring that our community receives the best possible care.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, which allows for a flexible work setting, giving you the autonomy to organize your schedule. You will work predominantly with clients from our detox center, where your expertise will play a crucial part in their journey to recovery and improved mental health. Our organizational culture prioritizes collaboration, professional development, and the sharing of knowledge and experiences among team members.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will have the profound responsibility of providing psychotherapy to clients facing a spectrum of mental health issues. Your essential duties will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Implementing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique preferences and circumstances of each client.
  • Maintaining meticulous clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facilitate seamless communication among your treatment team.
  • Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment teamโ€”including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionalsโ€”to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinated treatment approaches.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care provided.
  • Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources, enabling them to make informed decisions.
  • Staying abreast of current research and advancements in mental health treatment and integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals in a detox center setting, many of whom are seeking recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Your role will involve helping patients navigate complex emotional landscapes and supporting them in establishing healthier coping mechanisms. Every interaction will contribute significantly to clients' recovery journeys, allowing you to witness firsthand the impact of your work.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in delivering psychotherapy services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Adept problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address diverse client needs effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work cohesively in a team-based environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a detox or substance abuse setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
  • Continued education in advanced clinical practices or therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, ensuring your and your familyโ€™s health needs are met.
  • Life and disability insurance, providing you peace of mind in unforeseen circumstances.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage, securing your professional practice.
  • An employee assistance program offering mental health support and counseling services.
  • Unlimited patient referrals, allowing you to focus on care rather than administrative tasks.
  • Streamlined documentation processes to maximize your time with patients.
  • An active caseload to ensure a fulfilling work schedule.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Neuroscience Psychiatric Center, we encourage professional development and growth. You will have access to continuing education opportunities, training sessions led by experts in the field, and the chance to participate in specialized projects that align with your career aspirations. Your contributions to our organization will not only lead to improved client outcomes but also advance your career in the mental health field.

Why Join Our Team

By becoming a part of our dedicated team at Neuroscience Psychiatric Center, you will join a community of compassionate professionals who are committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of others. We believe in fostering an empowering work environment where team collaboration, innovation, and professional growth are prioritized. If you are looking for a rewarding career that aligns with your passion for mental health, we encourage you to apply.

Application Information

If you have the qualifications and dedication to excel in this role, we invite you to submit your application. Please include your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in joining the Neuroscience Psychiatric Center. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the realm of mental health.
