Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage production data centers, corporate offices, distribution centers, and cloud environments
  • Perform capacity and performance planning, including after-hours upgrades on production systems
  • Support data center builds and change management activities
  • Execute routine changes, service provisioning, and deployments (business and off-hours)
  • Lead fault isolation, service recovery, and incident analysis
  • Develop and maintain standards, procedures, and documentation
  • Provide Tier 3 network support across teams
  • Support complex enterprise network environments
  • Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships and engagements
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other network engineers

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a Senior Network Engineer role
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge and expert level experience with advanced routing and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Advanced Arista switching with VXLan experience preferred
  • Advanced Juniper switching skills preferred
  • Extensive network security skills including advanced level support and administration of Palo Alto and Cisco FirePower firewalls
  • Advanced experience with proxies, ACLs, IPsec, VPN, SSL/TLS, PKI
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISR/ASR series routers
  • Extensive VLAN and VRF experience required
  • Advanced experience with Cisco switching: Nexus 7K/5K/2K/FEX + entire Catalyst series
  • Advanced Wireless skills, including Cisco WLCs, Cisco autonomous access points, and Mist and Meraki cloud-based access points
  • Ability to design & support WAN connectivity to over 1690 remote sites, 7 distribution centers, and multiple remote offices
  • Ability to design & support WAN & LAN connectivity to multiple data centers, including cloud-based data centers
  • F5 Load Balancer configuration and support
  • SolarWinds Network Monitoring
  • VOIP and IVR experience a plus
  • SilverPeak SD-Wan experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
