Job description

Sr Solutions Architect โ€“ Data Center, Network & Security

Enterprise Solutions Provider | High-Impact Pre-Sales Role

REMOTE - Occasional Regional client meetings as needed in the Southwest

A leading, globally-aligned Technology Solutions Provider is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales efforts across Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, and Next-Generation Data Center solutions. This role supports a diverse portfolio of Enterprise and Large Commercial clients, including Fortune 1000 organizations, delivering a blend of Advisory, Professional, and Managed Services.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role partnering with strategic accounts to design and deliver complex, business-critical solutions. Youโ€™ll work at the intersection of architecture and strategy - helping organizations modernize infrastructure, enhance security posture, and drive long-term technology roadmaps.

REMOTE ROLE IN THE SOUTHWEST (AZ / CO / SoCal): Work remotely, engage clients onsite, and collaborate with internal Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Enterprise-Level Impact: Advise and architect solutions for Fortune 1000 and globally distributed organizations

Comp Package: Competitive base, strong bonus upside, full benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, and paid certifications

Platform: Well-established, growth-oriented organization with deep OEM partnerships and a full lifecycle services model (Advisory, Professional, Managed)

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

  • Leading pre-sales architecture and solutioning across Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless), Cybersecurity (NGFW, Zero Trust, Identity, SOC), and Modern Data Center environments
  • Partnering with enterprise clients to align technical solutions with business objectives through whiteboarding sessions, architecture design, and executive briefings
  • Developing multi-phase roadmaps, solution designs, and ROI/TCO models tied to large-scale, complex environments
  • Building BOMs, SOWs, and comprehensive proposals in collaboration with sales and delivery teams
  • Engaging OEM and strategic partners (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Dell, etc.) to deliver integrated, enterprise-grade solutions
  • Acting as a trusted advisor across the full lifecycle - from strategy and design through implementation and ongoing services
  • Staying current on emerging technologies across networking, security, automation, and modern infrastructure

What You Bring

  • 8+ years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or consulting within enterprise or large-scale environments
  • Strong experience across routing & switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security architectures, and data center technologies
  • Background supporting complex, multi-site or global environments preferred
  • Certifications strongly preferred: Cisco CCIE/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP/VCAP, CISSP, etc.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage both C-level and technical stakeholders
  • Consultative mindset with a focus on business outcomes, not just technical design

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive base + bonus structure
  • Full Medical / Dental / Vision
  • 401(k) with match
  • Generous PTO + paid holidays
  • Paid training, certifications & career development

If youโ€™re a consultative technical leader who thrives in enterprise environments and wants to help clients solve complex infrastructure and security challenges at scale, weโ€™d love to connect.
