Job description

Marketing Generalist
Remote (designated states) - Central Time Zone states preferred
Department: Marketing
This position is fully remote and may be performed ideally from one of the following U.S. states: AL, FL, GA, IN, IL, MA, MD, MI, MS, NJ, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WI.
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Generalist who is energized by making things happen. This person can take a rough idea, ask the right questions, and turn it into finished marketing across content, creative, digital, and events.
The role supports demand generation campaigns, account-based marketing, social media, website content, presentations, advertising, and our annual user conference. It complements our dedicated Graphic Designer by owning multidisciplinary and fast-moving work that often combines writing, design, video, and digital execution.
Above all, we need someone with the right attitude: proactive, resourceful, accountable, and willing to jump in wherever the work needs to move forward. This is a role for a maker who enjoys both the big idea and the details required to ship it.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and adapt campaign assets across social media, email, web, digital advertising, presentations, sales enablement, and events.
  • Write and edit concise marketing content, including social posts, headlines, ad copy, video scripts, presentation narratives, promotional emails, and website copy.
  • Own day-to-day social media production and publishing, working within the broader content and channel strategy.
  • Build polished PowerPoint decks for campaigns, webinars, conference sessions, sales teams, and executive audiences.
  • Edit short-form video and create simple motion graphics for social media, product marketing, campaigns, and events.
  • Support landing page and website updates in WordPress, including layout, copy, imagery, and conversion-focused improvements.
  • Develop personalized creative for account-based campaigns, including ads, landing pages, one-pagers, and outreach materials.
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats, turning webinars, interviews, and long-form content into clips, graphics, posts, and campaign assets.
  • Help bring marketing campaigns and event experiences to life, including the creative and production needs for our annual user conference.
  • Manage multiple projects from brief through delivery, communicate progress clearly, and help build templates and processes that make the team faster.

Position Proficiencies and Requirements
  • Own the outcome. You follow through, raise concerns early, and do not wait to be reminded.
  • Figure it out. You are comfortable starting with an imperfect brief and finding the right path forward.
  • Stay flexible. You can shift from a planned campaign to an urgent presentation or event need without losing momentum.
  • Collaborate without ego. You welcome feedback, respect specialist expertise, and pitch in where the team needs help.
  • Care about the finish. You move quickly, but you also notice the typo, broken link, awkward layout, or missing detail before work goes live.

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, creative production, content, social media, multimedia, or digital marketing.
  • A portfolio that shows range across several formats, such as social media, presentations, video, websites, campaigns, advertising, or events.
  • A strong design eye and a practical understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
  • Strong short-form writing and editing skills, with the ability to adjust tone for different channels and audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with a mix of tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, PowerPoint, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organization and judgment, including the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, including AI-supported creative and content workflows.

Experience in B2B, SaaS, healthcare, WordPress, HubSpot, or event marketing is helpful, but the quality of your work and how you approach it matter more than checking every box.
What Success Looks Like
  • Marketing ideas move from concept to finished execution faster and with fewer handoffs.
  • Campaigns, social channels, presentations, and events have consistent, high-quality creative and content support.
  • The team can produce more work in-house through strong templates, smart repurposing, and dependable follow-through.
  • You become the person the team trusts to step into an ambiguous need, create a plan, and get it across the finish line.
