Social Media Content Proofreader (Volunteer/Remote)

Job Description

Assist with editing and revising a broad variety of professional documents such as content, articles, and other publications for the social media team. Utilize Asana to review tasks and Slack to respond to messages. Reviews graphics in Canva to ensure all ARO requirements are met. Edit content according to specifications for style, tone, and length, while also ensuring correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ensure social media content meets style, formatting, and general quality standards. Attend the monthly company meeting. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week. Exceptional writing and editing skills. A team player with demonstrated experience working well with others. Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Behave professionally in manner and appearance. Ability to anticipate and critically think through problems. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
