About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Database Reliability Engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL environments. You'll ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across large-scale, cloud-based database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage highly available PostgreSQL architectures using AWS RDS and Aurora.
  • Optimize queries, indexes, partitioning, and database performance.
  • Manage backup, replication, recovery, and failover processes.
  • Troubleshoot slow queries, locks, deadlocks, and database bottlenecks.
  • Automate database maintenance and reliability workflows.
  • Support data migrations, application scaling, and operational improvements.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation.
