Senior Data Engineer (ETL / Python Developer)
Remote (Must reside within the Continental U.S.)
No C2C, Third-Party Vendors, Sponsorship, or Employer Representatives. Direct candidates only.
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong ETL, Python, and cloud data engineering experience to support enterprise data warehouse and analytics initiatives. This role is responsible for building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, modernizing legacy environments, and supporting critical reporting and analytics solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and support enterprise ETL and data integration solutions
  • Build scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Databricks
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Implement data validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Participate in code reviews, source control, and CI/CD processes
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • 5+ years of ETL development experience using Informatica PowerCenter, Azure Data Factory, Teradata, or similar tools
  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development
  • 5+ years of Teradata experience
  • 3+ years of Spark and Databricks experience
  • Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
  • Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar platforms
  • Experience with SnowSQL and Snowpark (Python)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, and CI/CD practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
