Job description

About the role:
A Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. You will make outbound calls and handle all related inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective clients. This role will report to the SDR Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
  • Initiate contact with potential customers primarily by phone or responding to inquiries
  • Move leads through the sales funnel and connect them to the appropriate salesperson
  • Perform regular follow up calls or emails to potential clients
  • Attend frequent trainings to learn proven sales strategies and concepts to increase sales
  • Effectively meet or exceed assigned performance metrics and key expectations

Requirements:
  • 6+ months of experience in sales, customer service, call center, retail sales, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment
  • Experience making outbound calls to potential clients or customers
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team but also work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle and overcome objections
  • Previous SDR, BDR, call center, collections, customer service, retail sales, banking, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Compensation:
The budgeted annual base salary for this position is $45,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the rate shown. This role qualifies for additional compensation through a performance-based incentive plan. The On-Target Earnings (OTE), which includes the base rate plus target bonus performance at 100% attainment, is $60,000 annually. Please note that incentive compensation is not guaranteed and is dependent on achieving defined performance metrics. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
