Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor, you need in-depth knowledge of motorcycle operation and safety, a valid motorcycle instructor certification, and strong teaching abilities. Familiarity with virtual training platforms, online assessment tools, and video conferencing software is typically required. Exceptional communication, patience, and motivational skills help instructors connect with learners and address diverse learning needs remotely. These skills ensure effective and engaging instruction that promotes rider safety and confidence, even in a virtual environment.

What is a Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor?

A Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor is a professional who teaches individuals how to safely operate motorcycles, typically through online platforms or virtual instruction. They provide theoretical lessons on motorcycle safety, rules of the road, and riding techniques using video calls, webinars, or e-learning modules. While hands-on riding instruction must be completed in person, remote instructors help prepare students for practical training and written exams. This role is ideal for reaching students in remote locations or those who prefer learning at their own pace.

What is the difference between Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor vs Motorcycle Safety Instructor?

AspectRemote Motorcycle Training InstructorMotorcycle Safety Instructor
CertificationsMotorcycle safety certification, instructor license, online training credentialsMotorcycle safety certification, instructor license, in-person training credentials
Work EnvironmentOnline, remote teaching via virtual platformsClassroom, outdoor riding courses, in-person sessions
Employer & Industry UsageOnline training providers, motorcycle schools offering remote coursesMotorcycle safety organizations, DMV-approved training centers

Remote Motorcycle Training Instructors primarily deliver motorcycle safety education through online platforms, allowing students to learn remotely. In contrast, Motorcycle Safety Instructors typically conduct in-person riding courses and classroom sessions. Both roles require similar certifications but differ mainly in the delivery method and work environment.

How does a Remote Motorcycle Training Instructor effectively engage students and ensure safety during virtual sessions?

Remote Motorcycle Training Instructors often use interactive video demonstrations, real-time Q&A, and virtual simulations to engage students. A key challenge is ensuring students understand and can safely apply riding techniques without in-person supervision, so instructors provide detailed guidance, digital resources, and require students to submit videos of their practice. Collaboration with other instructors and ongoing feedback help maintain high safety standards. Regular communication and clear instructions are essential to build confidence and competence among learners.

Job description

We're a perfect fit for top account managers and existing entrepreneurs. Be your own boss, but have the power of a thriving startup. We're a next-generation platform. We are looking for a remote account manager to help facilitate communication between our clients and our team
The Perfect Fit:
  • 2+ years of sales and business development experience. Not afraid to run a full desk.
  • You have the ability to work independently and set your own goals.
  • You're sick of being micromanaged and want more control over your day-to-day.

The 2 Major Duties of this Position
  • Client Satisfaction / Retention: You will be the day-to-day contact for our clients, responsible for relaying their feedback to our team of writers and editors. You will be responsible for identifying trending topics inside each client's industry and applying them to unique client needs. You will be required to create quarterly reports that illustrate the positive results as well as to provide feedback on anything that needs to be improved.
  • Continual Campaign Enhancement: This is not a sales position, and you will not be required to upsell; however, you will be required to strengthen these campaigns with a deep understanding of each client's audience and goals. This may include adding additional services (via upsell), but it will more likely mean providing thoughts and input that will synergize the relationship between our agency and the client.

Here are the details:
  • This is a remote position. You will need a quiet place to hold calls (not Starbucks or similar). You will need a phone, a computer and good wifi. Though hours can be a little flexible, you will need to commit to mostly workday, weekday hours, and you must be available to take calls with clients.

  • Most importantly, this is a client-facing position. You will be interacting with our customers most of the time. If you do not like talking to people, if you find quick problem solving frustrating, and if you can't think on your feet, then this job is not a good fit.

Note: Working from home is a great way to juggle life's various demands but it requires significant self-motivation to do it successfully for an extended period of time. You should have proof that this is something you can handle before applying for this job.
Here's what this job will entail:
  • Initial 2 weeks: You will be trained in the tools we use, trained in how our internal processes work, and shadow on client calls and emails.

  • Weeks 3-6: With light supervision and input, you will respond to client emails and take a more active role on client calls.

  • Week 6 and beyond: You will be the primary point of contact for some of our clients. You will keep a bird's-eye view of their campaigns and pass along their needs to our team. You will be responsible for weekly emails check-ins and quarterly reports. You will participate in onboarding new clients.
