What is remote military maintenance?

Remote military maintenance refers to the process of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining military equipment and systems from a distance, often using digital tools, remote monitoring, and guidance technologies. This can involve technicians or engineers providing support to on-site personnel through video calls, augmented reality, or remote access to equipment diagnostics. The goal is to reduce downtime, increase operational readiness, and minimize the need for maintenance personnel to travel to potentially dangerous or hard-to-reach locations.
