Job description

Summary
ACES Quality Management is seeking a Systems Administrator to own day-to-day internal IT for our fully remote SaaS company. You will administer our Microsoft 365 and JumpCloud environment, manage endpoints through Intune and NinjaOne, partner with Security on SOC 2 controls, and provide exceptional technical support for our employees.
This is a hands-on role with broad ownership.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Execute projects to streamline IT operations, including automation of repetitive tasks, implementation of new back-office systems, and enhancements for existing support frameworks
- Configure, maintain, monitor, and support employee endpoints, internal systems, and SaaS applications
- Operate and maintain IT security controls (patch management, endpoint security/EDR posture, MFA enforcement, periodic access reviews) in support of SOC 2 and other compliance obligations
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve employee technical issues
- Execute employee onboarding/offboarding and the hardware lifecycle for remote employees, including procurement, imaging, shipping, and returns - this role maintains a small laptop inventory at the employee's home residence and ships
devices to new hires
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and asset inventory
- Adhere to change management policies and procedures
Requirements
Qualifications / Competencies
- 3+ years of hands-on Windows endpoint and server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams)
- Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Powershell, bash, Python)
- Experience managing SAML/SSO integrations (e.g., JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID)
- Experience with a UEM/RMM solution for remote device management (e.g., Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne)
