About the Role:

The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are displayed effectively to maximize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. This position involves strategic planning and execution of visual merchandising techniques to attract customers and promote products. The Merchandiser will collaborate with store management to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure that displays are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, this role requires regular assessment of sales data to inform merchandising decisions and improve store performance. Ultimately, the Merchandiser's efforts contribute significantly to the overall success of the retail environment and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience with point-of-purchase displays and retail sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • **Would cover Allentown and surrounding areas, also going up through the Leighton area and Hazelton areas on different days.**
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with brand standards and seasonal promotions.
  • Regularly assess and adjust product displays to ensure they are appealing and effectively showcase merchandise.
  • Remove items that are out-of-code or not selling per customer guidelines.
  • Organize, rotate and stock shelves during each store visit
  • Ensure all authorized items are tagged and in the appropriate location and set to shelf standards
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territories on a regular and frequent basis.
  • Collaborate with store management to manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Utilize hand trucks and other equipment to transport and arrange merchandise throughout the store.
  • Increase promotional effectiveness through strategic placement of appropriate POS material.
  • Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to refine merchandising approaches and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Other duties as assigned/needed.
