Responsibilities/Qualifications
A Store Set-up Specialist partners with a store team in setting up a new store, providing direction to store team members. This position works with the new store and set up team and will rotate with other set up team members to lead the process. A process leader is responsible for effectively planning and overseeing the store set up to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
The Store Set-up Specialist key responsibilities include:
  • Directing and accompanying store team members with unloading of merchandise, installing shelving, stocking shelves according to store standards, and setting up store fixtures.
  • Inspecting work to ensure it meets company standards and everything operates according to established safety standards.
  • Ensuring that project activities are within budgeted hours, determined deadlines and allotted resources.
  • Delivering strong customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Providing timely project status updates to Store Leaders (Store Manager and District Team Leader) and Store Development Leaders.
  • Partnering with construction team on punch list expectations for store construction.
  • Implementing new procedures, best practices, useful tools and efficiencies for new stores.
  • Following all Company policies and procedures.

PAWsome Store Set-up Specialists will have:
  • Ability to travel 90%+ of the year.
  • Experience in leading teams and/or directing others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by expressing information and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment; and must have a comfort for change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see implications and provide solutions and recommendations. Ability to develop effective contingency plans to address risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs., and stand, kneel and bend for 2-10 hours a day.
  • A valid driver's license and minimum 21 years of age.

This position typically requires overnight travel for up to 2 weeks and a qualified candidate must be available to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, and weekends. Candidates must have reliable transportation to drive to stores and/ or airport and pass the drug screening.
