The Double Tree Hotel of Tinton Falls is seeking candidates for the position of Food & Beverage Set-Up to join our award-winning team.

The role of Food & Beverage Set-Up is responsible you will be responsible for the timely setup, breakdown, and resetting of banquet and meeting spaces according to event specifications and hotel standards.

Requirements:

· Set up tables, chairs, stages, linens, and other equipment for banquets and meetings based on event orders

· Break down and store equipment after events, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition

· Assist banquet and service staff with any room setup changes during events

· Ensure cleanliness and readiness of event spaces before and after each function

· Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized manner

· Follow safety procedures and handle equipment with care

· Communicate with Banquet Captain or Manager regarding event needs and changes


Compensation and Benefits include:

· This position offers a starting rate of $15.92 per hour.

· Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified).

· Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified).


Job Qualifications & Skills:

· Previous experience in event setup or hospitality preferred but not required

· Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
