Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has openings for Medical Malpractice Attorneys in its Chicago office. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including remote and hybrid opportunities.

GRSM is a full-service, Am Law 100 firm with robust national and local practices, including professional negligence, commercial litigation, general liability, insurance defense, and employment, among others. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Illinois.

Qualifications:

  • Duties and responsibilities include drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other documents; reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege; preparing for, attending and summarizing depositions; coordinating with witnesses; communicating with clients, courts, and other counsel.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP and other applicable codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with parties outside the Firm including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers, and other staff.

Our current national base salary ranges are:

  • Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000;
  • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000;
  • Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+.

Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
