Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and format legal documents, including estate plans and deeds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist in conducting basic legal research to support client meetings and hearings, enhancing the team's preparedness.
  • Maintain and update client files, both physical and electronic, to ensure seamless access to information.
  • Manage and organize the firm's master calendar, capturing all key dates and deadlines to keep the team on track.
  • Support front desk operations by answering phones, welcoming visitors, and routing mail, ensuring a professional first impression.
  • Collaborate with the attorney and office manager to streamline processes and improve client service delivery.
  • Meet billable-time goals by efficiently managing tasks and prioritizing responsibilities to support the firm's objectives.
  • Administrative duties (scanning, printing, and processing mail).

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma required; some college or a degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of office experience (legal setting preferred but not required for the right candidate).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills; able to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a self‑starter who can take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and delivering strong customer service.
  • Tech‑savvy and confident using MAC OS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data entry in CRM/CMS systems.
  • Familiarity with multi‑line phone systems and office equipment.
  • Experience in estate planning, probate, or working in a small law firm is a plus.
