What is a Remote Medical Historian?

A Remote Medical Historian is a professional who collects, reviews, and documents patients' medical histories, typically working from a remote location. Their main responsibility is to interview patients over the phone or via video calls to accurately record health information, past medical procedures, medications, and family medical backgrounds. This information is then organized and entered into electronic health records to assist healthcare providers in delivering informed care. Remote Medical Historians play a crucial role in streamlining the patient intake process and ensuring the accuracy of medical records. They often work for hospitals, telemedicine companies, or healthcare documentation firms.
