What You Will Do
  • Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-covering areas like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others-while adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address any discrepancies, and ensure optimal functionality through preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
  • Assist in the collection of specimens and manage sample preparation for various analyses.
  • Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or trainees, and contribute to maintaining lab quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Educational Background
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Required Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
