MES Developer

Plano, TX (preferred) or Remote Visa - Usc and Gc (Strong Communication) 1+ year contract

A MES Developer to help with new development for a Fortune-500 medical device client's overall MES deployments. This is a multi-year project that is just getting started.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the software development and maintenance of Rockwell FTPC MES System.
  • Focus on production support and small to medium sized software development projects within MES Team.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated prior history of software development within the Rockwell FTPC MES System.
  • Knowledge of the internal Rockwell Pnuts development language as well as a fundamental background in Java development.
  • Experience and exposure to Citrix desktop clients, oracle databases and MES Integrations with key operational boundary systems to MES is preferred.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Rockwell's FTPC using Pnuts
  • 3+ years writing design specs and interacting with users to understand requirements
  • 3+ years proficiency in any object-oriented programming language (preferably Pnuts and/or Java) and scripting languages like JavaScript
  • 3+ years of SQL/PL SQL experience (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL)
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries to get data from Oracle database
