In this full-time remote role, you will play a vital part in the mental wellness of our clients by providing them with personalized therapy and counseling tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise will help clients navigate challenges related to mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

As a remote employee, you will benefit from a flexible work setting that allows for a healthy work-life balance. You will primarily interact with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring access to quality therapy regardless of their location. Your operating hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, giving you evenings and weekends free to recharge.

• Manage a designated caseload of clients, engaging with them to build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify their specific needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans that reflect each client's goals and facilitate their journey toward recovery.
• Monitor client progress through regular sessions, adjustments to treatment plans, and timely documentation of notes and client interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional supervision and training to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills and maintain clinical standards.
• Engage in case reviews to discuss treatment progress and plan for discharges when appropriate, ensuring clients are supported throughout their treatment process.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will be equipped to support clients grappling with substance abuse, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and complex psychological conditions. Your clinical experience will guide your interactions, helping to create tailored healing plans while considering cultural and socioeconomic factors affecting each client.

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient therapeutic setting is essential.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and active listening skills.

Experience working within a community health environment or with populations experiencing severe mental health conditions will be beneficial. Demonstrated proficiency in creating treatment modalities tailored to individual needs and prior experience utilizing virtual therapy platforms will set candidates apart. Familiarity with the nuances of Medicaid and insurance processes for mental health services may also prove advantageous.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
