Field Mapping Associate - Dallas, TX
About the Role
CRG is looking for a detail-driven, self-motivated Field Mapping Associate to support a nationwide school safety initiative. In this role, you'll travel across the country to conduct on-site school visits, verify facility conditions, and update emergency response maps that help keep students and staff safe. What You'll Do
  • Travel to schools and facilities nationwide to conduct on-site mapping visits
  • Verify and update emergency response maps using CRG's proprietary mapping tools
  • Use an iPad to complete drawings, mark-ups, and site documentation
  • Ensure all mapping data is accurate, complete, and meets CRG quality standards
  • Communicate professionally with school administrators and project stakeholders
  • Submit daily reports and documentation through digital platforms
  • Support multiple active projects across multiple states simultaneously

What You Bring
Required
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including multi-week assignments
  • Comfortable using an iPad for field drawings, mark-ups, and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during on-site visits (up to 3 hours per site)
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel by personal vehicle, rental car, and air travel as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with email, phone, and standard digital communication tools

Preferred
  • Background in graphic design, drafting, or fine arts
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles

Compensation & Benefits
  • $50,000-55,000 annually
  • Per diem for all travel days

Work Setup
This is a hybrid role - remote when not traveling, and on-site at school locations across the United States during active assignments. Candidates must be based in the Dallas, Texas area.
