SUMMARY

Avetta is seeking a Marketing Operations Analyst who is passionate about marketing and, more importantly, driven by data, analytics, and measurable results. In this role, you will help influence marketing strategies and programs that drive company growth by delivering actionable insights across the entire customer journey, from Top of Funnel (TOFU) through Closed/Won opportunities.

A key objective of this position is to create an environment where marketing and sales data is easily accessible, accurately measured, and visualized in real time. You will partner closely with marketing leaders across the organization to analyze performance within their respective funnels, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed, data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the marketing funnel (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) and sales pipeline stages, along with exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills. You should be highly proficient in Excel and experienced with leading business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.

We are looking for a creative, proactive professional who is constantly seeking ways to improve processes and challenge the status quo. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building, enhancing, or contributing to successful business intelligence and analytics programs that drive meaningful business outcomes.

If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be required (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).  Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered on a remote basis. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the marketing leadership team by proactively providing accurate analysis with insights, communicate effectively while challenging leaders to think differently and becoming their go to resource.
  • Develop and maintain KPI packages to measure marketing and lead performance. This will include, but is not limited to, evaluation of marketing campaign effectiveness, performance against targets set and return on investment. Develop thinking about what is missing from current packages to tell a complete story.
  • Build annual funnel target for upcoming year considering current and prior year performance and upcoming strategic changes.
  • Communicate actionable takeaways and insights from regular reporting and newly developed KPI packages, identifying the next question that will be asked and digging deeper to find root cause.
  • Drive process improvement to help manage the data output from the marketing automation tool and in CRM to improve the data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with key cross-functional groups within Marketing, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Product to plan, problem solve, and create efficiencies that will optimize lead conversion, revenue and achieve mutual objectives.
  • Maintain a strong customer service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis for marketing leadership and executives as needed. Ability to handle multiple projects and self-identifying next areas to analyze.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced level proficiency with Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy focus.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of disparate data and generate compelling and actionable recommendations to C-Suite executives.

IDEAL EDUCATION, TRAINING & TRAINING:

  • BS/BA in Business Administration (Finance/Accounting/Economics) or other relevant degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or Consulting, preferably in a SaaS environment.

The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $103,000 USD per year.
