Job Summary:
Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to build best-in-class supply chain analytics. The role focuses on leveraging data and advanced analytical techniques to optimize supply chain performance and drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• leveraging data, automation, and advanced analytical techniques to optimize supply chain performance and drive business outcomes
• partner cross-functionally with Technology and Supply Chain teams to improve processes, enhance visibility, and support data-driven decision-making
• design and automate data workflows and analytical models to improve efficiency and accuracy
• develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights clearly
• solve complex problems and identify process improvement opportunities
• collaborate with teams such as Logistics, IT, and Supply Chain Operations
Qualifications:
Required:
• Advanced data analysis and modeling using tools such as SQL, R, and Python
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory strategy, replenishment, and safety stock modeling
• Ability to design and automate data workflows and analytical models to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights clearly
• Strong mathematical reasoning and ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and identify process improvement opportunities
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Logistics, IT, and Supply Chain Operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 2–3+ years of experience in supply planning, analytics, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Experience using programming languages such as R or Python for data analysis and modeling
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:
• Experience optimizing key supply chain metrics such as OTIF, in-stock levels, and inventory flow
• Familiarity with large-scale data environments and integrating multiple data sources
