Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Marketing Manager to strengthen how we inform, engage, and align employees across North America. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, communications, and organizational culture, ensuring that employees understand business priorities, leadership direction, and key initiatives across all functions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator with the ability to translate complex information into compelling, accessible content and a handson marketer who can build campaigns, manage channels, and deliver highquality communications with consistency and speed.

Internal Communications Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support business priorities, organizational changes, and leadership messaging.
  • Partner with HR, HSE, IT, Finance and business line leaders to ensure clear, aligned, and timely communication across the region.
  • Build integrated communication plans that leverage email, intranet, SharePoint, Teams, video, and other internal channels.

Content Creation & Channel Management

  • Write, edit, and publish high quality content including announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, FAQs, talking points, and campaign materials.
  • Manage and optimize internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet hubs) to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and easy to navigate.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure a consistent cadence of communication across business lines.
  • Marketing & Employee Engagement
  • Develop internal marketing campaigns that support culture, engagement, recruitment, recognition, and organizational initiatives.
  • Partner with HR on employee focused programs such as onboarding, benefits communications, promotions, and employer brand storytelling.
  • Support leadership visibility through presentations, scripts, messaging frameworks, and event communications.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track communication performance and engagement metrics; use insights to refine content, channels, and strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, templates, and workflows.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and internal stakeholders, helping them communicate effectively and consistently.
  • Collaborate with global communications teams to ensure alignment with corporate messaging, brand standards, and global initiatives.
  • Support crisis or urgent communications as needed.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in marketing and/or communications or related field of study
  • 5-7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or employee engagement roles within a mid- to largescale organization.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Experience managing internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet tools).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work crossfunctionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience supporting HR communications and employee engagement programs is a plus.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically - able to shape the plan and execute the work.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies that support organizational priorities, change initiatives, and leadership messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience creating highquality written content across multiple formats: announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, talking points, FAQs, scripts, and campaign materials.
  • Handson experience managing internal communication channels such as SharePoint, Teams, intranet platforms, email systems, survey tools such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms/ Survey Monkey and digital signage.
  • Strong background in crossfunctional collaboration, working closely with HR, Finance IT, HSE, and business line leaders to ensure message alignment and clarity.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement programs, employerbrand storytelling, and internal marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, accessible, employeefriendly messaging.
  • Solid understanding of change management communications and how to support employees through organizational transitions.
  • Experience measuring communication effectiveness using analytics, engagement metrics, and feedback loops.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting leadership communications, including drafting messages, preparing presentations, and advising on tone and narrative.
  • Familiarity with crisis or urgent communications is a plus.
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization is preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Advanced capabilities with Adobe Creative Suite, CRM Tools, Eloqua, HubSpot, Qualtics, and other survey tools preferred but not required.

Travel

  • Occasional travel required (5%-10%)

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 - $110,000 annually. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
