Empower Edge Psychotherapy Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide impactful mental health counseling services while working from the comfort of your home. This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to client needs.
• Perform thorough assessments to understand clients’ mental health statuses and co-develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals.
• Implement supportive strategies, including crisis intervention and psychoeducation, to empower clients and their families during challenging times.
• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share best practices, and enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed, accurate client records and documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Stay current with developments in the mental health field by reviewing new research and participating in training sessions.
• Participate in weekly supervision and engage in continuous professional development to enhance your counseling skills and knowledge.

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Active, independent LPC license issued by the state board of Oregon.
• Proficiency in maintaining up-to-date clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and empathetically.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions based on clinical insights.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines in all professional interactions.

• Previous experience providing counseling services, especially via telehealth, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with clients from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
• Experience with mental health assessment tools and therapeutic methodologies is an asset.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and interventions specific to the mental health needs of diverse populations.

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
