You will work from the comfort of your home, ensuring you have a reliable internet connection, a desktop or laptop computer, and access to essential communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize our telehealth platform to conduct virtual sessions with clients, employing various communication tools, including audio and video chat, digital journals, and clinical worksheets.
• Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver appropriate interventions for those experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records while ensuring all documentation complies with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Engage in goal-setting with clients, regularly track their progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in telehealth counseling.
• Collaborate with a community of over 10,000 counselors within the platform, sharing insights and seeking guidance to improve client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our telehealth services cater primarily to adults experiencing low-acuity issues including anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship challenges, weight management issues, and grief counseling. We ensure that counselors are matched with clients who align with their expertise, allowing for a more focused and effective therapeutic relationship. Importantly, our platform prioritizes the referral of stable clients, minimizing the complexities of managing severe mental health cases.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Counseling or a related field.
• Current, full Independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon.
• Strong technological proficiency with reliable access to a personal computer or laptop (tablets are not suitable) and a dependable internet connection.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth counseling or familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in managing electronic health records and using digital tools for therapy and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

At Advocate Healthcare Services, we value the commitment of our clinicians and offer a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 per annum for full-time counselors. Additionally, licensed counselors will benefit from:
