We are currently seeking a Senior IBM ITXA Lead - Remote US to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

Responsibilities

  • Solutions and executes migration of Mainframe applications into software equivalent systems (rehosting).
  • Uses knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, IMS, files, etc to find the right solution to migrate off the Mainframe.

 

Basic Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience with Mainframe migrations
  • 5+ years with IBM ITX/ITXA (map design, type trees, rules, deploy)

Additional Skills

  • Hands-on migration experience from Mainframe Gentran (z/OS) to ITXA on Linux.
  • EDI/B2B integration experience
  • Proficient with Linux administration for application runtime (services, filesystem, permissions, shell scripting)
  • Familiarity with Mainframe concepts: JCL, batch scheduling, data sets etc.
  •  Uses knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, IMS, files, etc to find the right solution to migrate off the Mainframe.
  • Experience migrating from IBM Gentran to IBM ITXA

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $116,000 - $190,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

 

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
