In this remote role, you will work closely with a collaborative team of mental health professionals, medical teams, and essential support staff. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, utilizing tools such as diagnostic interviews and standardized evaluation scales.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that may encompass short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services, targeting a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops that focus on critical topics related to mental health awareness, coping skills, and personal development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care and support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Participate in outreach initiatives and preventive efforts, including mental health awareness campaigns and community wellness events that align with our mission to promote overall community health.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards utilizing our state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) system.

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and cultural contexts. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with patients facing complex mental health challenges, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders and chronic illnesses.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A deep understanding of mental health issues affecting diverse patient populations and the ability to devise effective interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating within a interdisciplinary medical team.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a community health setting.
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably within a community health or hospital environment.
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing patient coping skills and self-efficacy.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
