Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, utilizing tools such as diagnostic interviews and standardized evaluation scales.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that may encompass short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services, targeting a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Qualifications
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A deep understanding of mental health issues affecting diverse patient populations and the ability to devise effective interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating within a interdisciplinary medical team.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a community health setting.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably within a community health or hospital environment.
