• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused strategies.
• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health through workshops, seminars, and continuing education.
• Support clients through crises, facilitating coping strategies and providing resources for ongoing care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients, many of whom may have limited access to mental health services. You will address a wide range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related concerns and substance use disorders. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably within a community mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team to improve client outcomes.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies to streamline documentation and client management.

• Specialization or advanced training in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse intervention.
• Experience working with underrepresented populations and an understanding of the unique challenges they face in accessing mental health services.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
