Job description

Position Title: Commercial Lease Administrator

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid โ€“ onsite during the first 90 days, then eligible for 2 days remote per week)

Assignment Type: Permanent Hire

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 / Annually + discretionary bonus opportunity

Work Schedule: M-F, 9-5

Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and abstract complex commercial lease agreements, including both financial and non-financial terms.
  • Maintain and update lease information within lease administration and property management software systems.
  • Manage lease records throughout the full lease lifecycle, from execution through expiration.
  • Calculate and monitor lease-related obligations, including base rent, CAM charges, real estate taxes, insurance, and percentage rent.
  • Generate and post recurring monthly rental charges and adjustments.
  • Prepare and complete annual operating expense reconciliations.
  • Perform budgeting calculations related to rent projections and operating expense recoveries.
  • Research and resolve tenant account questions, discrepancies, and disputes.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other internal departments to provide lease support and documentation.
  • Assist with due diligence activities by providing lease information and analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance while meeting multiple time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service while working cross-functionally with various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Lease Administration experience within Commercial Real Esate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong ability to understand, interpret, and abstract complex commercial lease terminology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
