Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist - Remote

Job Summary
In partnership with other learning and development professionals, business stakeholders, and organization leaders, supports in implementing learning solutions. Will also partner with subject matter experts, learners, internal content designers, external training vendors, and learning technology, such as a learning management system (LMS). Provides administrative support for the role as needed.
Job Location
This a remote role and can be located anywhere in the continental United States.
Job Responsibilities
  • Will collaborate with Americas L&D team to coordinate training programs both in-person and virtually; includes logistics, materials, producing, and other pre and post training activities as needed
  • Send communications to relevant individuals including invites, prework, follow up reminders, post completion surveys, and other related communication and evaluation efforts
  • Partner with the L&D team to gather, validate, categorize, disseminate, and promote use of knowledge, tools, and resources for improving the organization and the individuals in it
  • Interact with stakeholders and provide regular communications and updates; written and presentations
  • Collaborate with the L&D Network and HR professionals across CRH to ensure successful implementation of both in-person, virtual, and blended programs
  • Create forms or other data collection methods for registrations, evaluations, certificates, and other related information
  • Support the design and development of training programs as needed using instructional design methods
  • Provide creative and effective solutions that give employees access to programs, training, learning tools, and relevant resources
  • Use LMS to enter data and manage learning activities as needed, as well as pull training reports for analysis, including sorting, filtering using Excel or similar software
  • Assist with maintaining employee-facing systems used for HR, L&D, and talent management
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in HR (Generalist), Learning & Development, Training, or EH&S
  • Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (focus on: SharePoint, Forms, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SuccessFactors or a LMS
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Exposure to meeting or event planning is preferred

Compensation
  • Base Salary - $68,000-74,000 per year
  • 5% Annual Bonus opportunity
