You will operate in a climate-controlled, remote office environment where communication and collaboration with colleagues are essential. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health statuses and diagnose when necessary, utilizing standardized tools such as the DSM-5 to craft individualized treatment plans that address both cultural and clinical needs.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions to improve therapeutic effectiveness while ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines regarding patient records and privacy.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans alongside patients and their families by aligning their goals and needs with tangible strategies for improving mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate referrals and resources between patients and external providers, maintaining strong interprofessional relationships to support comprehensive care.
• Provide mentorship and educational support to interns, students, and volunteer staff, fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning and professional growth.
• Participate in peer review processes and clinical audits to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to best practices in social work.

This position focuses primarily on supporting adults and families impacted by cancer diagnoses, addressing the psychological challenges that accompany such life-altering health concerns. As a clinical social worker, you will employ therapeutic techniques and models tailored to this vulnerable population, ensuring culturally sensitive and individualized care.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment while exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in oncology support, mental health therapy related to chronic illness, or familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities specific to cancer care are strongly encouraged to apply. The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, with the potential for additional performance-based earnings.
