• Provide individualized psychotherapy to students facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to implement and adapt treatment strategies based on student progress and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient interactions meticulously via electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring compliance with all ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources to encourage ongoing support and understanding.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, based on direct feedback from students and associated health professionals.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management and align on student care strategies.
• Advocate for the mental health needs of students within the school environment, working closely with teachers and administrative staff to foster a holistic support system.

In this role, you will primarily serve students within a school setting, ages ranging from elementary to high school. You will address a spectrum of mental health conditions and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges. Your work will be instrumental in creating a safe space for students to express their emotions and navigate the hurdles they may face in their educational journey.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, signifying a robust academic foundation in clinical practice.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
