We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our outpatient team at Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health in Oxnard, California. Work Environment

Our innovative outpatient office allows therapists to deliver care in a supportive and collaborative remote setting. While you will primarily work from home, you will also have access to our physical office in Oxnard, where team meetings, training, and collaboration will take place. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored care plans.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues.
  • Support clients dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges through evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment modalities in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Actively collaborate with medical and mental health professionals, as well as social service organizations, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Many clients experience trauma, depression, anxiety, and various behavioral issues that require specialized therapeutic approaches. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • An active license in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Proven ability to conduct effective therapy with at least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients, as well as to communicate effectively with collaborators.
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with policies.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 117,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
