Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient counseling team. • Assess and evaluate clients' mental health statuses to develop individualized care plans that address their unique needs.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions as well as facilitate group therapy, focusing on various mental health challenges.
• Implement evidence-based treatment methodologies, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and address any additional needs outside of scheduled therapy sessions.

Our therapists predominantly work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and behavioral challenges. The clients served by our outpatient program encompass diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of culturally competent care. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys and achieve meaningful improvements in their daily lives.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in California.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for effective client management and documentation.
• Familiarity with remote therapy tools and electronic health record systems is advantageous.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Experience in case management and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
