Lighted Counseling Core, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team comprised of mental health professionals, social workers, and administrative staff, all focused on fostering a positive and inclusive culture. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use challenges, creating individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Provide regular therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities designed to empower clients on their journey to recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records to track progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate ongoing care for clients dealing with a range of mental health diagnoses, as well as those facing challenges related to drug and alcohol use.
• Engage actively in staff meetings, contributing to a culture of mutual support, learning, and collective problem-solving.
• Work to build relationships with clients, establishing trust and fostering a safe space for open dialogue.

Your role will focus on providing services to a diverse client population that includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic circumstances. Many clients may be experiencing mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall community wellness.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or a related therapeutic field.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively in challenging situations.
• A strong commitment to building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, rooted in empathy and respect.

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, those with specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques may provide an additional advantage, given the remote nature of this position.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
