Lighted Counseling Core, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. In this role, you will provide essential mental health support and therapy services to a diverse range of clients, directly impacting their quality of life and community well-being. Your expertise will be central in delivering comprehensive mental health care tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements that accommodate your professional and personal commitments. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use challenges, creating individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide regular therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities designed to empower clients on their journey to recovery.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records to track progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Facilitate ongoing care for clients dealing with a range of mental health diagnoses, as well as those facing challenges related to drug and alcohol use.
  • Engage actively in staff meetings, contributing to a culture of mutual support, learning, and collective problem-solving.
  • Work to build relationships with clients, establishing trust and fostering a safe space for open dialogue.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on providing services to a diverse client population that includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic circumstances. Many clients may be experiencing mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall community wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or a related therapeutic field.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively in challenging situations.
  • A strong commitment to building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, rooted in empathy and respect.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, those with specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
