This role will be conducted entirely in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. As an outpatient counseling facility, our approach combines the convenience of remote therapy sessions with the effectiveness of traditional therapeutic modalities. Our counselors meet clients by appointment, providing tailored scheduling to accommodate the unique requirements of each individual.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Implementing a diverse range of therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief treatment, to address specific client needs.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records while adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and practices in the field of mental health.

The clientele served by River Edge Developmental, LLC includes diverse individuals and families from various backgrounds, facing a multitude of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our counselors are dedicated to providing supportive and effective care tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each client.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A current and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience, with a preference for a clinical setting.

We highly value candidates with specialized experience in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling. A deep understanding of the ethical standards and legal regulations in the counseling profession is essential. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport and establish meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and workload.
