The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, climate-controlled office environment, which promotes daily movement and collaboration among team members and various healthcare providers. As a fully remote position, the therapist will engage with colleagues and clients through virtual platforms while still enjoying the flexibility of a work schedule that focuses on outpatient therapy without the demands of night shifts, hospital calls, or weekend work.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate each patient's mental health status using appropriate diagnostic tools, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the diverse needs of the patient population.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, providing ongoing therapeutic interventions aimed at symptom reduction and enhanced mental well-being.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently using the latest digital tools, ensuring all records comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to design and modify treatment approaches that align with established goals and patient preferences.
• Coordinate referral resources and connect patients with community-based support services, fostering continuity of care outside the therapy session.
• Engage in educating and mentoring future professionals by providing supervision and training to interns and volunteers as needed.

This position primarily focuses on supporting children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating the psychological and emotional impacts of a cancer diagnosis. The LCSW will work collaboratively with school personnel to ensure seamless integration of mental health services into the educational environment, helping students manage their unique challenges, reducing stigma, and promoting resilience among peers.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Previous experience providing outpatient mental health services, particularly with pediatric or oncology populations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities for children and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
