As a remote position, this role allows you to set your work schedule while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will engage in telehealth consultations that enable you to connect with clients from the comfort and privacy of their own homes, thereby removing some of the barriers to accessing mental health care. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, supporting video and audio sessions that facilitate meaningful interactions.

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs, goals, and backgrounds, enabling you to craft tailored therapy plans.
• Individual and Group Therapy: Facilitate therapy sessions both individually and in groups, employing various therapeutic techniques to support clients through their mental health journeys.
• Support for Specific Issues: Provide targeted interventions for clients experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, behavioral health concerns, and other emotional challenges.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and professional documentation as per HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaboration: Engage with other clinicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and participate in case consultations when necessary.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals from varying socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and cultural identities. We recognize that each client brings a unique perspective shaped by their life experiences and challenges. Strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are often utilized to equip clients with tools for coping and thriving.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid and active LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in the state of California.
• Demonstrable experience working directly with clients in a mental health setting, including at least two years of professional practice.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on compassionate active listening and assertive documentation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as CBT, ABA, or others, is highly desirable.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy sessions.
• Knowledge or special training in trauma-informed care practices.
• Experience in providing services to client populations with diverse cultural backgrounds.
